Today was the day we had planned to induce. Yet, baby Sam is already 4 days old. It's been chaotic since we came home from the hospital on Saturday. The older 2 have been throwing tantrums and having fights and screaming, showing signs of insecurity. Baby Sam has been asking for milk feeds on the hour and surprisingly, my milk supply has not set in as fast as it had for Nat and Luke. It is only today, that the milk supply has shown signs of increasing.
We brought baby to the doc today, slight jaundice, no need for any phototherapy just yet, so we will be monitoring her jaundice level. Her skin is kind of dry, so peeling quite a bit, trying to relieve that with some baby oil.
Today, I also left the 2 older kids at mum's place after school. Really needed some rest, instead of stopping fights all day. Managed to get some decent sleep finally.

Well, with 3 kids in the house, everyone takes time to adjust. The first week after delivery is always hard, especially when your hormones are going a bit haywire as well. But, things will settle down as they always do. And one just needs to remember, these 3 kids are and will always be a blessing in my life.
